Harsh Vardhan: a leading
wildlife conservationist in India, acts as an advisor to IGT
and shares his experiences with guests. He is the main organiser
of India's only Birding Fair (Jaipur's Mansagar Lake), and
was singularly responsible for saving the Indian Bustard species
being hunted through falconry during the late seventies by
the Arab Sheiks. He is also a writer (Bustards In Decline,
Ranthambhor Pug-Marks, Birds of Periyar, edited), photographer
and columnist.
He has been to USA, Canada,
Britain, Finland, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Sri Lanka,
Nepal, Hong Kong, Pakistan and Taiwan, to take part in conservation
related advocacy. He has lectured at the British Bird Watching
Fair (Rutland) several times. Wildlife conservation is his
sole occupation.
We support local people (stake holders), their
tradition and conservation-ethos. A certain percentage of
the annual revenue is reserved for conservation. You are welcome
to know more -- where does the money go?
So, IGT is the Tourism & Conservation Blend.
Welcome to join for own plesure and satisfaction.
