Introduction of Nepal
Nepal is a
small country in south Asia situated between two giant nations, India
and China (Tibet). This tiny Himalayan Kingdom lived virtually isolated
from the outside world for centuries, with its untouched massive

awe-inspiring white rivers, and of course its people, who with their
rich and colorful culture remain as beautiful as their natural
surroundings. Nepal is a trekker's paradise. It offers the most

highest mountains on earth including The highest mountain Mt. Everest.
Nepal is also the home of one Asia's richest and most spectacular wild
life sanctuaries. The Royal Chit wan National Park and Bardiya National
park , includes the rare great one Horned Rhino, several species of
deer, sloth bear, wild boar, fresh water dolphin, leopard, crocodile,
over 450 species of exotic birds and the Royal Bengal Tiger.

Sri Lanka

65,610 square kms, surrounded by the India Ocean lies the Isle of

plantations, water falls and lakes, unspoiled palm lined beaches with
coral reefs, rice paddies, wildlife parks filled with animals in their

Being a tropical country, the low lying coastal regions have a year
round temperature of 27 C, Kandy averages 20-25 C and Nuwara Eliya
10-20 C.
Bright,
sunny warm days are the rule and are common even during the height of
the monsoon - climatically Sri Lanka has no off season. The south west
monsoon brings rain mainly from May to July to the western, southern
and central regions of the island, while the north-east monsoon rains
occur in the northern and eastern regions in December and January.
Economy Sri Lanka is mainly an agricultural country. The chief crop is
rice with which the country is almost self sufficient. Tea, rubber and
coconut are also important agricultural crops, with tea being a major
foreign exchange earner. In addition, other crops of importance are
cocoa and spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, pepper and
cloves.
Festival occur throughout the year. The most famous is the Kandy
Perachera, the Festival of the August Full Moon at the Temple of the
Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha, in the hill capital of Kandy.
