SAFARI TOURS - INDIA TOUR

Safari Tours

Another dimension to your holidays : explore the countryside by way of Safari Tours. An authentic appeal as you observe intimately  life in villages, pass through lakes, parched land, hills, valleys, agricultural fields and through well wooded regimes. It is wonderful way doing photography.

Camel Safari

The ship of the desert, the camel, was domesticated thousands of years ago primarily for
the purpose of making tedious journeys through the unrelenting Thar Desert. So, how would you like to enjoy a camel safari? Take a short safari through a typical  village or a long-distance expedition lasting a few days. We ride during morning hours to take rest after lunch is served, and continue riding in afternoon, about 4-6 hours daily. Tents are pitched and food is cooked for you only. Meeting local men-women and knowing their household aspects can be added fun. The camel driver escorts you all the way.

Elephant or Jeep Safari, Cycling or Walking

Jeep safaris can be  a great experience anywhere -- gravel country,  through the agricultural fields or in the Thar Desert, or in the Himalayan heights -- Manali - Leh.  Suzuki (4 x 4) jeeps with a driver are like a house-on-the-wheels. Stopping at interesting places (forts, rivers, lakes) with overnight stay in a heritage resort or tents.

Bicycle tours through the countryside are enjoyable, depending on how many miles one would like to cover daily. Walking on the periphery of forests as also through villages... novel ways of doing holidays.

Try the Elephant Safari  --  like the Mughal emperors or the Rajput princes in a procession.
