Kailash Mansarovar
Yatra Tours
About The
Kailash Mansarovar Yatra
People have been visiting Kailash - Mansarovar for centuries. Almost
all the major passes of Uttaranchal Himalayas lead to Kailash -
Mansarovar. The important ones in the Kumaon region are Lipulekh,
Lampiya Dhura, Nuwe Dhura, Lowe Dhura, Unta Dhura, Jayanti and Kungri
Bingri. Since 1981, under the auspices of the Indian ministry of
external affairs and with the cooperation of the Chinese government,
IGT has been conducting trips to Nepal Kailash Mansaravar, Kailash
Mansarovar Yatra Nepal, Nepal Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, Kailash
Mansarovar Yatra, Mansarovar Yatra, Tourism in Himalayas. The number of people allowed
visiting Kailash - Mansarovar is limited and it is hoped that in the
near future, more Indian pilgrims will be allowed to visit Western
Tibet, the region of sacred mountains and lakes. Two lakes, Mansarovar (Mapam Tso) and Rakas Tal lie at the southern foot of Mt.
Kailash. Takas Tal is associated with the forces of darkness whereas
Lake Mansarovar is represents the forces of light.

Also, the
vicinity of Mt. Kailash is the source of four great Rivers (the Indus,
The Sutlej, the Bramhaputra and the Karnali) which water the four
quarters of the earth. Tibetan scriptures also speak of the four rivers
issuing from the world mountain. The very fact one thought of proceeding
to Kailash and Mansarovar is a "call from within". Thousands of Sages,
ordinary mortals, philosophers and even the Gods had submerged in
blissful trance at the very Bight of this divine grandeur. It is the
Meru, Sumeru, Sushumna, Hemadri (golden mountain), Ratnasanu (jewel
peak), Karnikachala (lotus mount), Amaradri, Deva Parvatha (summit of
gods), Gana Parvatha, Rajatadri (silver mountain). It was the Swayambu -
the self-created one. Kailash and Mansarovar are as old as the creation.
Everything emanates from there are finally return there. It is the
centre of creation and the Universe.
